"Mulher-Maravilha 1984" já tem uma nova data de estreia nos cinemas brasileiros: 13 de agosto. A diretora Patty Jenkins e a protagonista Gal Gadot divulgaram a data em suas redes sociais, juntamente com nova arte do filme.
Nesta sequência, Mulher-Maravilha encontra dois novos inimigos: Max Lord (Pedro Pascal) e Mulher-Leopardo (Kristen Wiig). O filme também tem em seu elenco Chris Pine como Steve Trevor, Robin Wright como Antíope e Connie Nielsen como Hipólita.

Patty Jenkins dirigiu a partir de um roteiro que ela escreveu com Geoff Johns & David Callaham, uma história de Jenkins & Johns, baseada nos personagens da DC.
"Mulher-Maravilha 1984" foi filmado em Washington, capital dos Estados Unidos, no Reino Unido, na Espanha e e nas Ilhas Canárias. A estreia estava marcada para 5 de junho de 2020.
